Got my camera back

I haven't updated because a friend had my camera for a while. Anyhoo it doesn't matter because this post doesn't have pictures.
I just wanted to say I don't have a lot to talk about except the greatness of my daughter. I was beginning to think I was being obsessive. Well, let me tell you. I am not as obsessed as many moms out there who blog. I won't post the websites, but my golly it's disgusting. That's all. And it's not anyone I know personally. Just people I blogstalk. And apparently blogstalking is a word and the new hip way to stalk. Off to finish my paper while having a stomach bug!!

Aunt Rie Strikes Again!

Me and a few of my friends from worked went to Boo at the Zoo at the Fort Worth Zoo last night. We had so much fun. Of course Aunt Rie went with to take pictures for everyone. All the kiddos were so cute! Here are some samples of Em and I'll post more later.

You can see all her teeth! She looks so big! Her hair is so strangly it's in the awkward in between stages of baby and toddler. We may get a hair cut next week.

She had so much fun. The past few days she has not been her happy self. At the zoo she was crazy. She walked around screaming (in a fun way) at the top of her lings. She has the funniest personality. It's so easy to make her laugh!

We Love Playdough

I made some edible play dough for Em today. She loves to play with her food, so I figured this was a good idea. I know it looks disgusting, but it was fun. It gave us a new activity that lasted about twenty minutes, that's two hours in baby time.

Em and Aunt Kristy!

As I mentioned before Emery spent the weekend with her Aunt Kristy. She had a blast!! Here is a collage that Aunt Kristy just sent me.

New Look

My friends at work have inspired me to add to my blog. I'm looking to add a header but do not know how. Stay tuned to more changes.
Speaking of changes Emery now walks more than she crawls!!! It's so crazy how fast she is changing. I was crazy enough to let my sister take Emery overnight while I worked two nights in a row. Yes, I did cry when she left. I miss her so much. As soon as I wake up tomorrow I'm going to get her and hug her likes there's no tomorrow.
Anyway, I called to check on her and my sister put the phone to her ear. I talked to her like I usually do. I asked my sister what she was doing and she said Emery was trying to kiss the phone!!!! I was a proud momma.

Thank you Kristy for keeping Emery. I know she had fun! I was sure that she'd be fine. I was surprised at how much I missed her.

The Evidence

Here it is. The full story is on Monday there was a new girl in the class next to Em's. When they were in group time Em and another boy from class got bit. Note: she bit four people on Monday. The boy that bit her today was the one that got bit on Monday. For the rest of the day she avoided that boy. I know, I have a smart kid.

Bitting Update

Just got a call from Em's teacher. She got bit again!!! On the FACE!! What the H.E. double hockey sticks. That's two school days in a row now. I asked, in a not so nice tone, if it was because Em was a mean kid or if she was being bullied. It was a different kid and Em was not being mean. She was leaning over the water and there was her cheek ready for some mean kid to bite. Pictures to be posted soon. I'm not a happy mommy.
